Executives of 7-Eleven Cambodia met with the Permanent Secretary, and emphasized the Company’s position as a convenience store that stands with communities and society and stands ready to support mutual and sustainable growth with local entrepreneurs and products.


Mr.Chairoj Tiwatmuncharoen, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of International Business of CP ALL PCL; along with Mr. Sontaya Wangsiriwate , Assistant Managing Director of CP All PCL and Managing Director of CP ALL (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.; and Miss Kaewjai Sriwan, General Manager of International Commercial & Purchasing paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Im Sithol, Permanent Secretary of State, Ministry of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to discuss 7-Eleven’s part in supporting local entrepreneurs and products, especially agricultural products, to ensure 7-Eleven’s position as a convenience store that stands with communities and society, and stands ready to support mutual and sustainable growth with Cambodian society. 

During this visit, Mr.Chairoj emphasized the Company’s policy in operating the 7-Eleven stores in the Kingdom of Cambodia, that is, to always observe the Three Benefits to Sustainability of Charoen Pokphand Group and the CP All’s Commitment of Giving and Sharing. CP All launched its first 7-Eleven store in the Kingdom of Cambodia on August 30th, 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which reflects the Company’s confidence in the economic potential of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Company’s launching of its stores in Cambodia also, in turn, boosted the confidence of Thai and foreign investors towards Cambodia. Mr.Chairoj also emphasized that, while operating and expanding the 7-Eleven business in Cambodia, the Company’s primary focus has always been delivering opportunities to the country and the people of Cambodia. The Company continued to focus on developing talents, jobs, and career opportunities, as well as supporting local entrepreneurs and products. The Company stood ready to work with all sectors to develop the Cambodian economy together. 

While welcoming the honorable guests, His Excellency Im Sithol praised CP All for launching its 7-Eleven stores in the Kingdom of Cambodia, as well as the Company’s efforts that have been widely accepted by the Cambodian people. His Excellency praised that the Company’s expansion into Cambodia was another symbol of the good relations between the two countries. His Excellency praised that it is evidently clear that 7-Eleven has come to improve and make the Cambodian economy more lively, as well as commending the Company’s policy that gives importance to the country and the Cambodian people. His Excellency remarked the Ministry has an important mission of modernizing the country’s agricultural sector, improving the quality of life of farmers, and promoting the country’s agricultural products to acceptable levels by both domestic and foreign consumers. In this regard, His Majesty remarked that although Cambodia exported many agricultural products to Thailand, such as dried foods and rice, many other products also have export potential. His Excellency said that he was proud to see local Cambodian products sold in 7-Eleven stores, and it was obvious that CP All also focused on promoting Cambodia’s local products by arranging dedicated shelves in every store. His Excellency finally remarked that he wished to continue to work closely with the Company.
